One of my friends has a birthday in February so I took an old rosy-colored jacket that I never wore and dereconstructed it. From there I snipped out long stripes and ruffled it into a rose. I kept it together with some minimal stitching and eventually wrapped it up (and tied it up with a bow) with a smaller strip of the same fabric. She loved it
